MOR Store is a convenient store which not only sells grocery but also some kind of food. I had joined there for 6 months, since May 2016. It’s good to know and get experience about working at retail company.
I worked as marketing staff, focusing on graphic design. With my supervisor, we created and maintained every POS either printed or digital, which are available in their period. I used to editing photo of food/beverage, designing posters/ shelf-talkers/ banners/ headers/ digital posts/ catalogues, and also relayouting them for website.
Besides, I also did other jobs like met the supplier and organised what POS the store needed, then distributed them through our LDC team.
TAC Craft is a home company that concern in clay art. The artist and the owner, Satyani, is my sister in law 😀 She is a music teacher in piano classic anyway. She loves art very much. Knowing I’m working in the same field (art), she asked me to join her preparing her booth in a bazaar.
(Note: People in the first photo are my sister and sister in law.)
I prepared some designs to promote her booth there such as charm packaging, chalkboard announcement, price tag, give-away promotion, etc. It’s very interesting! I also got a chance to learn how to make some kind of pastries made of clay 😀
The day of bazaar was amazing too! My sister in law took my sister and I to the bazaar on 3 April 2016. The bazaar was awesome! The bazaar was held at Tugu Kuntskring Paleis, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia. The place looks like historical-colonial building and now used for restaurant and art gallery. At the day, people were coming with various style, visiting different kind of vendors and some of them bring their dogs inside!! What a unique experience for me ><
TAC Craft’ contact:
I was hired as a freelance graphic designer at Human Resources Development Department of Gramedia Majalah (Kompas Gramedia Group of Magazine) about 3 weeks ago. At the first time they contacted me in the middle of March, they said they need stunning output at least before the month ends.
I was involved in 2 projects: 1) internship program ad; 2) standard operational procedure of training & development. The first project’s final output is print ad and digital ad on social media. The second project’s final outputs are book and kinda “calendar-book”.
At first, I tried to make design with chalkboard style. You know, the dark background with colorful content. Then, the color style I used in the end was the brighter one, with bright background and blue as the dominant color (the color of the company group).
Those projects were done in 8 workdays. I’m so happy that I could help them through my artworks. Hope many students will be interested to join their internship program and new comers in their department could learn the Standard Operational Procedure of Training & Development well 🙂
After did the intenrship, I was called to come back to the office then I was asked to help them finishing some works before Eid al-Fitr I had became a freelancer there since June 23. My works was not really different while I was an intern. Layouting and making some illustrations. I also made e-books. Those e-books were about baby’s meal :9
Here are some pages of them..

Few months ago, started on February 2015, I worked as graphic design intern at Kompas Gramedia Group of Magazine (KG GoM). Specifically, I was an intern at Tabloid Nakita (it’s part of KG GoM). My job was about layouting and making some illustration. Besides the tabloid, I also made some e-books. They were about fables, children’s story, children’s psychology and children’s health.
These pictures are some pages of e-books that I made while working as graphic design intern at Tabloid Nakita.
